What is a PTA?

A parent teacher association is a formal organization composed of parents and teachers who volunteer their time to enhance the educational experience of every child in our school.

What is the purpose of the PTA?

The purpose of a PTA is to enhance and support the educational experience at QAW, to develop a closer connection between school and home by encouraging parent involvement and to improve the environment at QAW through volunteer support.  The QAW PTA intend to increase parents’ meaningful involvement with all stakeholders of the school through effective communication.

Role of Parents

Parents will be volunteering their time to plan activities and events, with teachers that will create a better school and a better educational experience for our children.
