Dr. Said K. Boshorbak - Chairman of the QAW Board of Governors
Dr. Boshorbak has an extensive background in Education that began by earning his Bachelor’s Degree in Education from Qatar University. He then went on to earn a Master’s in Education Administration from Eastern New Mexico University in the United States and a PhD in Educational Administration from the University of Leeds in the United Kingdom. Dr. Boshorbak has spent more than thirty years as a key player in upper management positions in various companies in Qatar, his leadership in shaping strategies and setting long term goals has supported the success of the companies in which he served. Dr. Boshorback’s support to QAW since its foundation has helped establish a strong foundation for the school and education in Al-Wakra.
Dr. Abdullah Mohammed Abu-Tineh
Prof. Abdullah Abu-Tineh serves as the Director of the National Center for Educational Development (NCED) at Qatar University and a Professor in Educational Leadership Program. Prof. Abu-Tineh holds a Ph.D. in Educational Leadership & Human Resources Development as well as certificates in Program Evaluation and Measurement & Statistics from Florida State University. His research interest includes: leadership development, leadership styles, leading change, organizational learning, women leadership, and professional learning. Prof. Abu-Tineh has published many research papers in national and international journals, presented in several national and international conferences, conducted a lot of professional development programs, and served as chair and member in many boards and committees inside and outside Qatar.
Mr. Mansoor Al-Khater
Mr. Al-Khater started his career as Assistant Pipeline Engineer at Qatar Petroleum. Following a distinguished twelve-year career at Qatar Petroleum, Mr. Al-Khater joined Qtel as the Executive Director of Group Strategy, in January 2009. Mr. Al-Khater is also a board member of Arabsat, the Qtel representative in Qatar National Broad Band Network Committee and ictQatar Strategy, as well as actively involved in activities of INJAZ Al-Arab. He is currently in the dissertation stage of his Master’s in Business Administration from Hull University.
Mr. Abdulrahman Ali Al-Abdulla
Mr. Abdulrahman Ali Al-Abdulla is Chief Executive Officer and member of the Board of Directors of Qatar Chemical and Petrochemical Marketing and Distribution Company (Muntajat) Q.P.J.S.C. He was responsible for establishing the Company in 2012 working with different stakeholders as the Project Director. Mr. Al-Abdulla graduated from the University of Denver Colorado, USA. He has more than 24 years of significant experience in the Chemical and Petrochemical and worked in several organizations including Qatar Petroleum (QP), Qatar Fuel Additives Company (QAFAC), and Qatar Petrochemical Company (QAPCO). Mr. Al-Abdulla is an active member of society; he serves as the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Al-Koot Insurance and Reinsurance Company and is a Board member of Qatar Academy (Al-Wakra). He is an active member of the Gulf Petrochemical and Chemical Association (GPCA) and other various committees.
Shk. Saoud A.H.A Al-Thani
Sheikh Saoud holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Petroleum Engineering from King Fahd University of Petroleum & Minerals in Saudi Arabia and an Executive MBA from Henley Business School, University of Reading. Currently position as a Senior Advisor at Qatar Petroleum. Sheikh Al-Thani has an extensive background in the Oil &Gas sector including engineering, management, investments and leadership. He Represent and lead government and QPI delegation in various international conferences and meetings.
