About Early Education Centre (ECC)

Our Preschool 3 (PS 3), Preschool 4 (PS4) and Kindergarten (KG) programs offer our youngest learners a dynamic place to play, move, discover, explore and grow. We are a community that respects and responds to diversity. We value the unique experiences, cultural heritage and developmental readiness of each child by treating each child as an individual.

Our teachers and staff place a strong importance on partnerships with parents to make the transition to school a positive and successful experience.

Our classrooms are student centered and our instruction is designed to cater to students’ needs and interests. Our program encourages students to inquire and ask questions and learn through play. Teachers are facilitators who provide a variety of learning experiences that support the continuum of children’s growth and development, which includes the physical, social-emotional and cognitive development of each child.

Our goal is to develop confident and creative children who exhibit the attitudes and attributes of a life-long learner.

Pre 3 through Kindergarten (Early Education Centre) is part of the Primary Years Programme (PYP). The  Early Education Centre use a play-based model where students primarily learn through play. Therefore, you will not find worksheets or rote memorization in our Early Education Centre.
