As part of its academic efforts, Qatar Academy Al Wakra organized an enlightening educational trip to Spain. The aim was to broaden
students' perspectives and deepen their understanding of global history and cultures. The trip focused on highlighting the Islamic heritage in
Córdoba, offering students a profound exploration of Islamic history in Córdoba and Granada. This included visits to iconic sites such as the
Alhambra Palace, the Córdoba Palace, and renowned Andalusian mosques like the Great Mosque. Additionally, the trip encompassed guided tours of
historic neighborhoods to further explore the Islamic civilization in Spain. This excursion provided a unique educational and cultural
experience, allowing students to connect with their Islamic heritage in a foreign setting.
