Qatar Academy Al Wakra believes in nurturing Islamic values and bridging the gap between theoretical Islamic education and its practical
application. To this end, the school organized a spiritual and educational journey to Medina and Mecca in mid-March, with 25 academy students
participating in the trip. The Umrah trip was a testament to the school's commitment to reinforcing Islamic values in students and empowering
them to actively engage with Qatari Islamic societal values. The journey included a historical route that highlighted the life of Prophet
Muhammad, peace be upon him. The students visited significant historical landmarks in Medina, with educational supervisors aiming to deepen
the students' understanding of Islamic teachings by translating them into authentic educational practices. Furthermore, the Umrah trip
provided a comprehensive explanation of the Hajj rituals and their connection to Mecca's sacred sites. Overall, the journey was an opportunity
for students to experience the essence of Islamic values and their practical implications, which aligns with Qatar Academy - Al Wakra's vision
of empowering students to integrate with Qatari Islamic societal values actively.
